Ocean Green's Construction Manager, Glenn Schmitke, was one
of
the first in the home building industry to
take an active interest in building green. He has completed many
courses, including the Canadian Home Builder's Association's Built
Green BC workshop, and has received the related completion
certifications. Ocean Green works to demonstrates its environmental
stewardship by building more energy efficient homes
that reduce the impact on the environment in the following target areas:

▪ Resource use (including waste management)
▪ Overall environmental impact
